Welcome to VoiceJournal AI ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the VoiceJournal AI application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Description of Service
VoiceJournal AI provides an intelligent audio journaling platform that transcribes voice recordings, analyzes emotional sentiment using AI, and securely stores your entries. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
2. User Content and AI Processing
You retain all ownership rights to your voice recordings, transcripts, and metadata ("User Content"). By using the service, you grant us a temporary license to process your User Content solely to provide the transcription and emotional analysis features. Our AI processing is powered by secure APIs (OpenAI Whisper and Anthropic Claude).
3. Privacy & Security
Your journal entries are encrypted and stored locally by default or backed up securely per your settings. We do not sell your personal data. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any Custom API keys you provide.
4. Premium Subscriptions
We offer a Premium subscription providing unlimited entries and advanced analytics. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle. Pricing is subject to change with prior notice.
5. Limitation of Liability
VoiceJournal AI is provided "as is." We do not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice. The emotional analysis provided by the AI is for self-reflection and entertainment purposes only and should not replace professional mental health care.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms or use the service for illegal or abusive purposes.
